I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of this cottage. The decor was delightful, with beautiful seaside-themed accents that made me feel like I was truly on a coastal escape. The general areas were well-maintained and had a warm, welcoming ambiance. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. From the moment I entered, I felt at ease navigating the premises, with convenient ramps and handrails that made it easier for me to get around comfortably. It gave me peace of mind knowing that the hotel had taken into consideration the needs of senior guests like myself.
The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there could have been a bit more attentive. Sometimes, they seemed a little overwhelmed and rushed, which made it a bit challenging to get assistance when needed.

Loved the charming Portacabin office! Got the address and keys via email, wow! Free WiFi was such a treat. Shopping options nearby were fab. Sharing with other guests was interesting.
Oh, I just adored not knowing if my booking was confirmed or not, such a delightful surprise!

The apartment we ended up staying in was modern and well-furnished, with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. It was also conveniently located near popular tourist attractions and the beach, providing easy access to the beautiful surroundings. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff at Quay holidays, who managed to find us an alternative accommodation at the last minute.
We had received confirmation through email and an app, only to be informed later that there was a computer mistake and our reservation could not be honored. This unexpected turn of events disrupted our plans and put a damper on our much-needed relaxing escape.

Me and my mates had a banging time exploring Poole. We hit up Sandbanks Beach and the waves were gnarly. We also checked out Brownsea Island and spotted some mad wildlife. The apartment was proper cool, with Wi-Fi so we could upload all our sick pics.
The only thing we would've loved is if the hotel had some sick activities for us young party animals. Maybe like a rooftop bar with sick beats, so we could turn up without even leaving the hotel.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the cottage at Ocean Escape. The cozy furnishings and beautiful seaside themes made me feel right at home. The entire property exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a senior like me to unwind and enjoy. Additionally, the hotel's location in the city center was a tremendous advantage for us older folks. Being close to amenities and attractions made it easy for us to explore Poole at our own pace.
My only wish for a better vacation for senior people would be more attentive service from the staff. Sometimes, it seemed like the children working there were a bit overwhelmed or unfamiliar with handling the unique needs of older guests.

The room at Ocean Escape was amazing! It had a private bathroom with a bath and a hairdryer, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of adventuring. I loved watching my favorite shows on the 32-inch flatscreen TV in the lounge. And the fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and flat-screen TV was just the cherry on top!
Although everything was great, I personally didn't find the shower in the private bathroom very satisfying. But hey, that's just me, some people might still enjoy it.

The private bathroom was amazing, with a bath and a hairdryer. I felt so relaxed and pampered!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the dishwasher. It's just not something I use often when I'm on vacation.
